År 2013 sökte Johan Pernrud att tillfredställa sitt behov av rock n roll och kontaktade först trummisen Klas Svahn. Jammande ägde rum i början av april och de upptäckte att det var riktigt bra. Kort efter rekryterades bassisten Calle Berg och tre låtar var snabbt ihopsatta. De beslutade sig sedan för att rekrytera gitarrist extraordinairen, Johan Luyckx. 2014 ägnade Jämmerdal sig bandet i stor del att skriva, spela in och repetera och år 2015 uppstod planer för en EP som desvärre tog tvärstopp när Klas valde att lämna bandet. Mörkret följde, sommaren kom och gick i lugnt grubbel. Under hösten dök Stefan 'Stiss' Lundvall upp, en die-hard trummis med rötterna i jazz och klassisk hårdrock. Sedan dess har Jämmerdal varit i hårt arbete för att sprida rock n roll, hårdrock och psykedelia på en intet ont anande värld. Med stor beslutsamhet gjorde Jämmerdal deras live debut under sommaren 2016.
l⭐Mother Mersy⭐l
Med influenser från Led Zeppelin, Graveyard, Queen, Aerosmith, Rival Sons och Free tar det här unga Malmöbaserade bandet, Mother Mersy, likt reinkarnerade från ett annat årtionde, oss till en musikalisk arena som doftar bluesig rock och 70-tal.
2015 singeldebuterade bandet med ”Devils´Water”, i år släpptes den efterlängtade EP´n “Mother Mersy”där dessa 20-åringar toppar melodi med skönt groove och rå energi.
Support: TBA, avgörs av en lokal tävling, mer information om tävlingen kommer.
