Organiser
Ljudvågor är vår festival som varje år i maj låter Visby genomströmmas av ny musik! Under fyra dagar lockas tonsättare, musiker, media och andra musikintresserade till Visby för runt 50 uruppföranden av de studerandes egen musik.
Festivalen produceras helt av de studerande och deras kompositioner framförs av både professionella musiker och studerande.
Festivalen Ljudvågor är målet för varje läsårs komponerande och det yttersta beviset på vår pedagogiska tanke – att omsätta teorin i praktiken. Genom att låta våra studerande skapa musik för professionella ensembler och sedan få den framförd för en betalande publik under en festival de själva producerat och marknadsfört skapar en unik erfarenhet för det framtida yrkeslivet.
Vi på Gotlands Tonsättarskola, eller "Tonis" som skolan kallas bland studenter och ortsbor, tror att svaret ligger i det unika utbildningskoncept som blivit vårt signum – en individfokuserad förberedande kompositionsutbildning där learning-by-doing utvecklar studenterna konstnärligt och hantverksmässigt. Varje läsårs komponerande leder fram till den egenproducerade festivalen Ljudvågor där ett 50-tal verk uruppförs av professionella ensembler och orkestrar.

I have not received my LJUDVÅGOR – FESTIVALPASS ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your LJUDVÅGOR – FESTIVALPASS tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your LJUDVÅGOR – FESTIVALPASS tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my LJUDVÅGOR – FESTIVALPASS ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Where do I find a link to an online event?
