Efter urpremiären på Stockholms Stadsteater kommer nu Stefan och Thomas till hemstaden Göteborg
Stefan och Thomas, avfarten mot Dalstahuvud bygger på radioteaterpodden Stefan och Thomas. Anton Hellström och Edvin Hallberg har i flera år byggt upp karaktärerna Stefan och Thomas och i podden får vi följa deras vardag genom lågintensiva samtal. Nu gästar de Auktionsverket Kulturarena för ett exklusivt framträdande.
Ett parallellt, västsvenskt egenföretagaruniversum målas upp, där vi bland annat får lära känna skojfriske Stefan Kasta, fruarna Pernilla och Marlena samt otursförföljde Mats Härd. Allt mot en fond av vägbeskrivningar till sommarstugor utanför Hälleviksstrand, vilken typ av gipsskiva som bör användas vid badrumsrenovering, skillnaden mellan bergvärme och pellets och vad som egentligen hände när Dick Axén fyllde 47. Hellström och Hallberg jobbar inte med sökta skratt eller överdriven satir. Med respekt och nyansrikedom skildrar de den svenska medelklassen bortom schablonen – utan foppatofflor, Ullared och flintastek.
