Välkommen till en föreläsning med Ching Huang, audionom och hörselpedagog på Hörsel- och Balanskliniken på Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset.
Visste du att vi ”hör med hjärnan”? Ching kommer att berätta om hur örat fungerar och olika orsaker till varför vi ibland hör sämre. Och varför grannens hörapparat kanske inte är den bästa för just dig. Ching kommer också prata om hur teknisk utrustning kan göra det enklare att höra TVn eller uppfatta vad som sägs i samtal med andra. Vi avslutar med att beskriva hur du går tillväga om du vill göra ett hörseltest eller prova ut en hörapparat i Stockholms län.
Efter föreläsningen kommer det finnas tid för frågor med de medverkande.
Fika utanför salen serveras från kl. 15:30, samtalet börjar kl. 16:00.
