Musik Hallandia presenterar stolt, från skottland och på turné i Halland - The Langan Band!
Skotsk folkmusik möter Mumford & Sons
I över 15 år har de tre medlemmarna från Skottska Langan band spelat ihop och har turnerat i både USA och Australien. Musiken bottnar både i den keltiska traditionen men också den nutida folkrocken som gjordes populär av bl.a. Mumford & Sons. Musiken är energist, känslofylld och medryckande
Bandet har bl.a vunnit det prestigefyllda priset Danny Kyle Award på Glasgow Celtic connections festival och har fått fina recensioner världen över.
Bandet består av Ayrshire födde John Langan med en explosiv fot på bastrumman, eldiga gitarr rytmer och med svidande sång. Till höger om honom står Alastair Caplin ifrån de yttre Hebriderna som är en klassiskt tränad violinist sprungen ur London prog-folk/jazzscenerna. Till vänster och sist men inte minst den Angus födde Dave Tunstall på kontrabas, här levereras hjärtstompande basgångar. De utgör en magisk kombo tillsammans med deras tre sångröster.
Missa inte chansen att se dem när de äntligen turnerar i Halland och stannar till i Halmstad, det kommer bli en oförglömlig kväll.
