Välkomna på konsert på Rättviks Gammelgård! Nyfiket har äran att presentera Lamine Cissokho & Fanta Yayo!
Duetten Lamine Cissokho & Fanta Yayo är mötet mellan en senegalesisk koramästare och en guineansk diva. Lamine Cissokho är musiker med en scenpersonlighet utan motstycke. Han härstammar från den västafrikanska griot-traditionen som sedan 1400-talet förmedlat berättelser, historier och myter i en muntlig och musikalisk tradition. Lamine tillhör de stora koraspelarna — koran är ett afrikanskt stränginstrument besläktat med harpa och luta — och har utvecklat sin musik mot nya genrer, inte minst afro-jazz och modern elektronik. Lamine turnerar regelbundet över hela världen både solo och i en rad samarbeten med svenska och internationella musiker.
Samarbetet med sångerskan Fanta Yayo har skapat en fantastisk match av scenisk karisma och en parallell gren av den västafrikanska musiktraditionen. Fanta är född i Conakry, Guinea och kom till Sverige i början av 2000-talet. Fanta har tidigare varit sångerska i bandet Tamala och har dessutom turnerat med band som Mamady Keita Jr och Seckou Keita, är liksom Lamine en del av griot-traditionen och har fötts in i sången och dansen.

Biljett köps i förväg online på billetto.se/users/nyfiket. OBS: Biljettförsäljningen online stänger en timme innan konserten. Ett begränsat antal biljetter finns att köpa på plats i kafékassan en timme innan konserten börjar.

Konserten äger rum inomhus under Sturladus mäktiga bjälkar och miljön på Gammelgården är en upplevelse i sig. Smörgåsar, hembakat fika, glass och kaffe finns till försäljning i kaféet som stänger kl 17. Vi serverar lunch mellan 12-15.
Sommarens evenemang på Nyfiket är möjliga tack vare Studiefrämjandet Dalarna, Rättviks kommun, Folkmusikens hus, Kulturrådet, Folk You, Nordiska ministerrådet och Rättviks hembygdsförening.
