Kungliga Akademiska kapellet ägnar eftermiddagens konsert helt åt musik av Antonín Dvořák och framför Symfoni nr 7 d-moll, Romance f-moll för violin och orkester samt en furiant ur Slaviska danser. Orkestern leds under denna konsert av gästdirigenten Ciarán Crilly från University College Dublin (UCD) Symphony Orchestra.

Organiser
Uppsala universitet har två egna orkestrar, symfoniorkestern Kungliga Akademiska kapellet, under ledning av Stefan Karpe och storbandet Uppsala University Jazz Orchestra, under ledning av Erik Tengholm. Dessa orkestrar, som till största delen består av studenter och anställda vid universitetet, är knutna till musikinstitutionen Musicum, belägen på Kyrkogårdsgatan 4 i centrala Uppsala. De flesta av orkestrarnas konserter framförs i Universitetsaulan, men vi arrangerar även mindre konserter och evenemang, som t.ex. kammarmusikkonserter, på Musicum.
