Magnifika Kristin Amparo släpper sitt första album och firar detta med en konsert på Scala ihop med TBA - Piano, Niklas Wennström-Bas, Robert Mehmet Ikiz-Trummor.
Plattan spelade in så sent som i början av november i Stockholm och består av 8 låtar från den genre som står henne mycket nära hjärtat-Jazzen.
Jag ska följa mina drömmar med rak rygg.
Musiken är den gåva jag har fått och jag har valt att hedra och förvalta den av hela mitt hjärta. Att ständigt utvecklas och växa med den. Genom musiken kommer jag att ge allt jag är. Mitt mål är att knacka på hos så många hjärtan jag hinner under min livstid.
Jag har rest runt världen i musikens tecken och mött många fantastiska människor. Deras livshistorier, deras sånger och deras visdom lever i mig och det är de som blir mina sånger.
Albumet ”A Dream" är en hyllning till mina jazzhjältar.
Nina Simone följde mig när jag träffade min biologiska mamma Zoraida för första gången och hon tröstade mig och vaggade mig till söms med sin sång på hotellet i Cali. För det är jag evigt tacksam.
Tänk om den musik jag släpper kommer följa någon liten flicka på hennes resa genom livet.
Det är en dröm som vi firar den 14:e december på Scalateatern. Därav namnet på mitt fösta album - A Dream.
