De senaste åren har vi sett Kristian Anttila utforska geografins ytterligheter. Troligen är han den svenska popartist som spelar flitigast utanför de större svenska städerna. Med en stark vilja att komma närmare sin publik besöker han Pajala och Dorotea, Karlstad och Växjö lika ofta som Stockholm och Göteborg. Konceptet är enkelt – en gitarr, en röst och en samling nutida svenska popklassiker.
De avskalade konserterna ger en ny sida av Anttila – friare och mer berättande. Där hans kollegor skalar upp med större ljudbilder och större produktioner, letar han, sin vana trogen, sig åt andra hållet och tittar på låtarna och artistskapets kärnor. En motsträvig artist som alltid gått sin egen väg. Under sommarturnén 2015 presenteras för första gången material skrivet direkt för den avskalade formen. Inga ridåer, rakt in i hjärtat.
Kristian Anttila debuterade 2003 och har sedan dess släppt 5 studioalbum via allt från världens största skivbolag Universal till egen utgivning, haft ett tjugotal låtar i rotation på P3 ("Smutser", "Magdalena (Livet före döden)", "Västra Frölunda", "Säg Nej Till Mig" osv), gjort dryga 500 spelningar över hela världen och samarbetat med artister som Sylvia Vrethammar, El Perro Del Mar och Olle Ljungström.
DAVID RÖNNEGÅRD
Beväpnad med akustisk gitarr och en fantastiskt röst har vi glädjen att presentera albumaktuella David Rönnegård som öppningsakt denna kväll.
Tillsammans med cellisten Liz Almqvist skapar han ett dynamiskt spektra som pendlar mellan sårbar längtan till explosiv eufori.
