I februari möts Angharad Davies, Lisa Ullén och Johan Arrias för att arbeta tillsammans på Gerlesborgs konstskola där de under tre dagar kommer att spela, pröva idéer, metoder, spela in, lyssna, promenera och reflektera över sin konstnärliga process under inflytande av den vackra miljön. Vistelsen avslutas med att trion lördagen den 18 februari kl 19.30 ger en konsert på skolan.
Angharad Davies, Lisa Ullén och Johan Arrias är alla aktiva musiker och kompositörer inom improviserad, experimentell och nutida musik. Trion möttes musikaliskt första gången våren 2014, i London. Lisa Ullén och Johan Arrias, som under 2012 startat en duo, 2013 ville vidareutveckla densamma genom nya möten, var av ett var med Angharad Davies.
Duon åkte till London för ett par dagars arbete tillsammans med Angharad. Arbetet avslutades med en konsert på Café Oto, en central plats för improviserad experimentell och alternativ musik, även internationellt sett. Ända sedan dess har trion närt en önskan att vidareutveckla och fördjupa samspelet och den estetik man slagit an; intresset för ljud, deras kontraster, sammansmältningar, tvära avbrott och långa linjer. De arbetar i en komponerande anda där varje musiker, i en improviserad händelse, tillsammans med gruppen disponerar sitt material i en realtids-komposition.
