Louis Cole och Genevieve Artadi (med fullt band) uppträder på Slaktkyrkan med en efterlängtad dos framtidsfunk och rytmer från en annan (jazzfusion) värld.
Louis Cole och Genevieve Artadi har vårdat KNOWER som sitt främsta projekt sedan de möttes 2009. Gradvis har de odlat en stor global following med sin smittsamma jazzfusion-funk, sina fantastiska vokal-arrangemang och övertygande närvaro på scen och online. Med en imponerande förmåga till konstnärlig frihet och en DIY-anda har de släppt fem album och samarbetat med framstående musiker världen över. Allt detta genom sitt eget oberoende skivbolag, drivna framåt av en tydlig musikalisk vision.
Musiken KNOWER skapar är både invecklad och innovativ, men ändå anmärkningsvärt direkt och lätt att ta till sig. Snabba tempon och medryckande beats övergår sömlöst i fängslande vokala harmonier som kan få vem som helst på fall! Och övergångarna kan vara plötsliga och oväntade. Lyriken är inrymd i ett rått och ironiskt textuniversum där tristess blir nästintill omöjlig.
Louis Cole har haft en framgångsrik solokarriär med sin egen musik och sina egna album och slutar aldrig att överraska musikaliskt. Man kan helt enkelt inte underskatta potentialen för KNOWER att skapa magi när de intar scenen på Slaktkyrkan i oktober!
