Om Inside the Rainbow: Jag kände att färgerna kunde inspirera kompositionens klangfärger. Färgtänket och travestin (små byggstenar från Over the Rainbow) är ett par av de bärande idéerna för sviten. Ett annat är att stycket skrevs för musiker från hela Europa så jag lät mig influeras av det; därav det beatiga i första satsen, de franska klangerna i den andra samt lite spanskt i den tredje. Kort och gott en liten regnbågsbild över Europa.
Möt våren i Södertälje: Stycket börjar vackert, det är vårens ankomst som nalkas, sedan drar bandet igång (islossningen) och alla musiker sjunger sitt lov till våren. Namnets ursprung var Södertälje och våren samt Ulf-Peder Olrogs: ”Se Sundbyberg och sedan dö, möt våren i Södertälje. Glöm Reymersholm med slask och tö, möt våren i Södertälje.”
