Klubb DÖD presenterar stolt Anja Huwe och det banbrytande postpunkbandet Xmal Deutschlands återkomst till scenen!
ANJA HUWE, den ikoniska sångerskan i postpunkpionjärerna XMAL DEUTSCHLAND, gjorde avtryck i musikhistorien med bandets inflytelserika releaser, inklusive fyra album på kultetiketter som 4AD. Efter att ha lämnat rampljuset för att fokusera på en framgångsrik karriär inom bildkonst, gjorde Huwe en triumferande återkomst till musiken i början av 2024 med sitt hyllade soloalbum CODES, släppt tillsammans med nyutgåvor av tidiga Xmal Deutschland-singlar — båda på Sacred Bones Records. Huwes comeback hyllades av press och fans världen över, och medier som The Guardian, Rolling Stone, THE WIRE och Galore utsåg den till ”årets comeback” och öste lovord över hennes senaste verk.
Anja kommer att framföra sitt nya material live, tillsammans med moderna omtolkningar av Xmal Deutschland-klassiker, med en ny banduppsättning och upplyst av hennes karakteristiska visuella konst.
