Darker times are approaching and we’d like to light things up by throwing the
8th edition of KIOSK. This time we are very happy to announce that we
will be joined by a true inspiration in dutch DJ and producer Jasper
Ferro.
Ferro has been pushing the industry forward in recent
years. Currently residing in Amsterdam, he is A&R and resident of
VBX and resident and curator of his own night at Shelter. He is also
part of collaborative duo Spokenn together with friend and fellow
DJ/producer Reiss, gaining great success in the past year. And with
releases on Oscillat, Infuse Lessizmore and VBX its safe to say this
young man is a force to be reckoned with.
His sound is percussive
while organic, warm and inviting and solely produced using genuine
hardware and fully analogue tools. With pure enthusiasm and a huge
devotion to all the music he plays and produces, Ferro has made a big
artistic step in recent years with performances across the globe at
events like HYTE, Kiesgrube, Unusual Suspects and FUSE London and with
his releases gaining support some of the biggest names in the game.
We are more than excited to host this charismatic and talented young man for KIOSK 008!
Also,
our resident Alex Scott is back and will be flying in from London to
join our residents Cosmo Jonsson and Max Brennan on the decks for the
night. We can’t wait for this one!
KIOSK 008 will once again take
place in a secret indoor venue with a large open terrace located in the
outskirts of central Stockholm. As always; good sound, good music and
an intimate and friendly atmosphere is emphasized.
