Välkommen till ett samtal om en ny uppmärksammad bok om Karl Marx (200 år): Karl Marx – Herr der Gespenster, (ungefär: "Fantomernas herre"), skriven av Thomas Steinfeld. Den som vill förstå vår tid bör också läsa Marx, menar han. Här finns för vår tid många drabbande sanningar, om kapitalets våld och makten, inbäddad i varor och tjänster, om krisen som normalläge. Daniel Tarschys kommenterar.
Medverkande:
Thomas Steinfeld, författare, journalist. Han har bl.a. varit kulturchef för den stora tyska tidningen Sueddeutsche Zeitung , där han fortfarande medarbetar. Han undervisar bl.a.vid universitetet i Luzern. Bland hans många böcker märks för svensk del en bok om Mankell och Wallander, en annan om Axel Munthe.
Daniel Tarschys, professor em i statsvetenskap och bl. a. skrivit om Marx, Engels och Lenin. Han var i många år riksdagsman för folkpartiet och senare bl.a. Generalsekreterare vid Europarådet.
