Under det senaste året har Kaffeflickorna och Syndafloden på intet sätt legat på latsidan! De har istället vässat pennorna, ätit sju sorters kakor, åkt Ålandskryss, sparkat småsten, testat nya karaktärer, bytt trummis, skaffat en egen replokal och därtill ägnat sig åt ett näst intill maniskt livsbejakande för att samla in material till nya skivan.
Och ÄNTLIGEN presenterar nu ”DRÖMMEN OM CINDERELLA” med hits som ”Folksam”, ”Parmiddag i Kungahuset”, ”17 % bättre”, ”Bara bröst” och ”Den försvunna diamanten”. Skivan är inspelad av den danskättade virtuosen Peter Damgaard och omslaget återigen ritat av den briljanta konstnären Johan Leijon.
Kaffeflickorna och Syndafloden är en fusion av könsrock och punk, teater, dansband och progg. Sättningen består av Hanna Elvin och Evelina Persson (sång), Anna Dalentoft (bas,kör), Peter Daamgard (gitarr) och Håkan Åkerblom (trummor). Kaffeflickorna och Syndafloden har tidigare släppt skivan ”Husmorstips” och spelat på såväl Feministiskt forum som Teater UNO, West Pride, Musikens hus och P4 Göteborg.
