Junior Brielle är namnet på två bröder från Norrland som redan lyckats hitta en plats i rampljuset. Debuten "I Luften" släpptes på eget skivbolag och fick stor underground-hype, samtidigt som de hyllades av såväl Festivalrykten, Aftonbladet, Hymn och P3. Pop-duon säger själva att de strävar efter en "perfekt balans mellan det vackra och det coola".
I början av april släpptes EPn "Blod" som även den fick fina recensioner och hamnade på flera av Spotifys stora spellistor. Bland annat blev duon omslagspojkar på "Indie Highlights" och musikjournalisten Fredrik Strage utnämnde "Blod" till Årets debutalbum i Nyhetsmorgon.
Duon bor numera tillsammans i Stockholm med delad ekonomi, men så har det inte alltid varit.
– Vi bodde i en enorm herrgård i ett gammalt militärområde en vinter. Vi hade bestämt oss för att skita i rock´n´roll och försöka göra något annat, något nytt. Det var så jävla kallt i det där huset och vi hade svårt att vara kreativa ibland. Men med en synth och ett trumset tog vi våra första steg mot ett nytt "sound", och det första vi skrev var refrängen till ”Säg aldrig ditt namn”. Det blev ett avsked från naiviteten och att förlita sig på andra, till att istället bara lita på sig själv och sin bror.
EP:n ”BLOD” har producerats av Vinter (Lorentz etc) och Vita Bergen i "Studio 2007".
I början av året var de support åt Vita Bergen på ett utsålt Debaser Strand, duon har öppnat för Azure Blue och fyllt Debaser ännu en gång och de har turnérat i Norge som support till Violet Road. Under sommaren har duon spelat och lockat storpublik på både Storsjöyran och Stockholmsfestivalen Let Make Love Great Again.
