Dave Thompson (UK) - Dave has performed comedy for over 20 years in places like Ireland, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Monte Carlo. His credits include ‘Harry Hill’s TV Burp’, and ‘The Sketch Show’ have commissioned Dave as a writer. Dave is best known as the person inside the Tinky Winky costume on ‘Teletubbies’, which is still shown all over the world. He considers his greatest achievement to be his novel 'The Sex Life of a Comedian, of which copies will be on sale for those daring to read it.

We host monthly events featuring international comedians from around the world, with a fresh lineup every month. All shows are performed in English. Gothenburg English Comedy was founded by Joe Eagen in 2010, and Sit-up Comedy was founded by Eliano Nasr in 2021.
