I årets julkonsert bjuds publiken in till en trygg respit från vintermörkret. Garvade klassiker och nyare tillskott skapar stämning och förhoppningsvis känns vinterkylan lite mindre bitande efter en timme i varmt sångarsällskap.
I år har vi den stora glädjen att få bjuda in Tobias Westman, tenor, och Victoria Power, pianist. Tobias Westman tilldelades Anders Walls Girestastipendium 2014 och tog examen från Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola 2015. Under senare år har han varit aktuell i roller på bland annat Parisoperan och Kungliga Operan i Stockholm. Victoria Power är utbildad vid Royal College of Music i London samt Edsbergs Musikinstitut i Stockholm. Hon har medverkat i Allmänna Sångens julkonserter sedan 2017 och är i dagsläget, bland mycket annat, konstnärlig ledare för Musik på Slottet i Stockholm.
Allmänna Sången är Nordens äldsta akademiska kör och räknas till de främsta blandkörerna i Sverige. Julkonserterna anordnas i samarbete med Anders Walls stiftelse.

VÄSTERLÖFSTA KYRKAS MUSIKSTIFTELSE
Inför Anders Walls 80-årsdag 2011 önskade han sig istället för presenter bidrag till en konsertflygel i hemförsamlingen Västerlövsta. Bidragen lade grunden för den fantastiska Steinway-flygel som sedan installerades i Västerlövsta kyrka i Heby. Ambitionen är att varje år arrangera minst fyra konserter av mycket hög musikalisk klass. Konsertverksamheten stöds ekonomiskt av Anders Walls stiftelse.
