Sthlm East Gospel Choir har funnits sedan 1994, då under ledning av Michelle Nakagawa.
Idag är vi ett 30-tal glada sångare i åldrarna 20–60 år.
Vi kommer från olika bakgrunder och traditioner – men förenas i kärleken till musiken, rytmen och den gemenskap som bara gospel kan skapa.
Sedan många år leds kören av Anna Wiborg; körledare, sångerska, coach med rötterna djupt i gospelmusiken. Med influenser från den amerikanska gospeltraditionen och många års erfarenhet som pedagog, inspirerar hon oss att sjunga med bättre teknik, hjärta och närvaro.
Under Annas ledning fortsätter Sthlm East Gospel Choir att utvecklas, utmana sig själva och sprida glädje – på scener, i kyrkor och där gospelmusiken behövs som mest.
