Hasta ahora siempre hemos tenido constancia de la historia a través de los hombres. La historia siempre ha sido contada y escrita por los hombres, pero ¿sucedieron los hechos así? ¿conocemos toda la verdad?
“Juicio a una zorra” es una nueva versión del mito griego de Helena de Troya que Miguel del Arco ha escrito de una manera brillante e inteligente. Este monólogo fue estrenado en el Festival de Teatro Clásico de Mérida, cosechando numerosos premios entre ellos el Premio Valle-Inclán de Teatro.
Como bien dice Helena en el transcurso de su monólogo. En la mayoría de las versiones del mito, incluso en “la Ilíada”, Helena se dibuja como un papel secundario, como la causante de una interminable guerra y la culpable de la caída de Troya. El mito de Helena y su belleza ha sobrevivido al tiempo. Helena se enfrenta a su propia historia, a sus miedos, a sus pasiones y nos ofrece su propia versión de la historia. Ha llegado la hora de escuchar a Helena después de tantos años de silencio.

Juicio a una zorra (på svenska: Rävens dom) är nyskriven dramatik av Miguel del Arco. Monologen uruppfördes första gången 2011, och ger gestalt åt Helena, Spartas prinsessa i grekisk mytologi.
I många versioner av myten, däribland Iliaden, är Helena en bifigur, objekt och orsak till det Trojanska kriget. I Miguel del Arcos version berättas historien utifrån Helenas perspektiv; hur och varför trojanska kriget startades, om hennes liv och kvinnans ställning.
I dramat blottläggs människans mest grundläggande impulser och drifter, vilka har varit desamma genom alla år. Män med position och makt har betraktat skönhet och sexualitet som en handelsvara. Hur tungt, förnedrande och utelämnade det än är, även i en mytisk gestalt som Helenas, är tiden nu mogen för upprättelse.

Ivan Rojas kommer från staden Granada i Andalusien och har kandidatexamen i audiovisuell kommunikation på Granadas Universitetet och La Sapienza Universitet i Rom.
Har jobbat inom olika medier som teater och kortfilm.
Joana Gallego är en mångsidig skådespelerska, har studerat teater i Barcelona, Madrid, Granada och Jaen (Andalusien) och varit verksam som skådespelerska, sångare och stand-up artist.
