Varmt välkommen till körens 40-års jubileumskonsert med bl.a den ryske tonsättaren Alfred Schnittke's "Requiem" för kör och orkester-nu äntligen i Göteborg! I samarbete med Sveriges Radio.
Ett unikt tillfälle att uppleva detta kultverk för kör, solister och orkester. Schnittkes Requiem, detta fantastiskta verk med sin gripande kraft och stora uttrycksregister ställer stora krav på exekutörerna.
Förutom Vocal Art Ensemble medverkar också ett 10-tal instrumentalister i framförandet:
3 slagverkare, orgel, piano, trumpet, trombon, elgitarr och elbas-en klanglig kombination av det ovanligare slaget som ger verket en mycket personlig touch och förankring i vår tid.
För 18 år sedan (1991) rosades kören för sitt förstagångsframförande. Nu är det alltså äntligen dags igen. Är du nyfiken på något nytt och spännande, tag då chansen den 10 november.
