Examenskonsert, kandidat jazz
Genom transkribering av låtar ur The Great American Songbook och utvalda musikers solon på dessa låtar, undersöker Jonny sitt eget konstnärliga uttryck och hur det påverkas av ett sådant arbete. Han kommer att jämföra en enklare demoinspelning vid arbetets början med en inspelning av examenskonserten. Några av de musikers solon som står i fokus är: Barry Harris – East Of The Sun, Paul Chambers – Almost Like Being In Love och Oscar Peterson – I Can’t Give You Anything But Love.
För att få ökad förståelse för låtarna, transkriberas också en så tidig version som möjligt av samma låt. Dessa hämtas från versioner med Adelaide Hall, David Brooks samt Arthur Tracy.
