John Holm — Sveriges kanske störste musiklegend genom tiderna. Under 70-talet släppte John tre album som ofta benämns bland de bästa som givits ut i Sverige. Sordin (-72), Lagt kort ligger (-74) och Veckans affärer (-76). Sedan dess har John varit tämligen sparsmakad, 1975 gjorde han sin första turné och exakt 40 år senare, 2015, var det så dags för den andra, då endast ett fåtal utsålda spelningar gjordes…
Våren 2019 turnerar han fortfarande och denna gång är han tillbaka i Umeå och på ett par andra väl valda spelplatser i Norrland.
John Holms musik är som en blandning mellan singer-songwriter, rock och progg. Hans egensinniga röst och djupa texter fortsätter att attrahera lyssnare trots att han inte släppt särskilt många skivor. Inom snar framtid kommer en ny singel Hård Värld (en omarbetad svensk verion på Haid Rain av Bob Dylan) samt en dokumentär för SVT spelas för tillfället in och väntas bli klar i vår. Han är även aktuell med en duett på Per Gessles andra soloalbum som släpptes i dec.
