I slutet av förra årtusendet gör NASA ett av sina gränsöverskridande experiment i all tysthet. I den svenska natten fångar man in en hårdslående punktrummis, en jämtländsk folkmusiker på väg söderut, en ung kvinna som av misstag stiger av tunnelbanan på en station utan namn, en goglad gospelmusiker och sökande småländsk dixielandklarinettist. Den udda kvintetten kastas in i en rymdkapsel tillsammans med sina instrument och en trave osorterade LP-skivor med Duke Ellington, Carlos Jobim, Horace Silver, Charlie Parker, BB King, Piaff och Jan Johansson. När rymdkapseln landat efter ett antal ljusår har bandet SYNKOPATERNA bildats. Och resten är historia.
Välkomna till en avkopplande kväll mellan hägg och syren med SYNKOPATERNA och bara dom bästa låtarna. Och glöm inte, att den som har gjort en resa har något att berätta…
