Jazzklubben SONJA har denna sommaren den stora lycka att återvända till Oceanens fina konsertlokal på Stigbergstorget. Vi kommer bjuda in till en serie med lite mer finstämda konserter med scenen mitt i rummet och en möjlighet att komma ännu närmare era favoritmusiker.
Den 30:e Juli har i den stora lyxen att ha det unga stjärnskottet Johanna Pettersson på scenen. Hon sjunger med en lekfullhet, glädje och otrolig musikalitet som letar sig in hos såväl inbitna jazzlyssnare som de mer nytillkomna. Denna kväll ackompanjeras hon av två av Sveriges stora jazznamn; Filip Ekestubbe och Arvid Jullander - denna otroliga trio vill ni inte missa för allt smör i Småland.

Johanna Pettersson är en ung, up-and-coming jazzsångerska som är färgsprakande och totalt orädd på scen. Till hösten släpper hon sitt debutalbum under Naxos/Prophone tillsammans med svenska väletablerade jazznamn. Med hjärtat i jazzlegender som Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae och Nancy Wilson tar hon sig an jazztraditionen på ett unikt och häpnadsväckande sätt. Hon kombinerar medryckande sväng, modern improvisation och innerlig historieberättning med egna arrangemang och kompositioner, samt tolkningar av standardlåtar ur den amerikanska sångboken. Denna kväll är Johanna så glad att inta klubb SONJA tillsammans med fantastiska lineupen:
