Jazz Är Farligt med vänner presenterar en berättande musikalisk teaterföreställning om Sun Ra och hans Saturnus.
Jazz Är Farligt som drivs av Elena Smon Wolay har sedan 2011 varit tongivande på den alternativa scenen, då startade det som en klubb och utvecklade sig snabbt till en självständig tidning (fanzine), skivetikett, klubb, endagsfestival på Liseberg och numera även en barnföreställning.
Barnföreställningen handlar om våra olikheter baserade på den djupt originelle jazzmusikern, kompositören, orkesterledaren och filosofen Sun Ra (född som Herman Poole Blount 22 maj 1914, död 30 maj 1993) skulle i år ha fyllt 100 år. Enligt honom själv var han född på Saturnus, vilket han nöjd kunde konstatera att den amerikanska passmyndigheten hade registrerat i hans pass. Det var också ut i rymden hela mänskligheten skulle färdas – "Space Is The Place". Hans orkester The Sun Ra Arkestra är fortfarande aktiv och gästade Sverige med konserter i somras.
