Hyllade världsturnerande Jaron Freeman-Fox är en innovativ fiolfantom från Kanada som mixar keltisk och kanadensisk folkmusik, blues, jazz, klassiskt, rock, indisk karnatisk musik, karibiskt och afrikanskt. Han utforskar den femsträngade violinens möjligheter och behärskar en mängd olika spelstilar, nyskapande fioltekniker, effektpedaler och genrer. Han har spelat på såväl gigantiska festivalscener som vardagsrum i hela världen med både sitt eget band och flera stora kanadensiska artister samt medverkat på och producerat över 50 album.
Jaron och den svenska gitarristen Simon Nyberg träffades 2012 när de båda spelade på samma festival i Kanada. Sen dess har duon årligen mötts upp och spelat i en mängd olika länder. Allt ifrån kortare visiter med spontana konserter till en 50-dagar lång turné i Australien 2018. I år blir konserten på Kärrboda duons enda framträdande ihop. Vi ser fram emot ett färgsprakande musikaliskt möte under ladugårdstaket!
