Jan-Åke Hillerud har under ett långt och rikt yrkesliv bidragit till att förgylla Sveriges körliv tack vare sina många tonsättningar och arrangemang som årligen sjungs av många av landets körer.
Många har mött honom bla under sin tid som musiklärare på Adolf Fredriks Musikklasser och som grundare och musikalisk ledare av Adolf Fredriks gosskör.
Torsdagen den 8 nov är Jan-Åkes 80-års dag och detta vill vi självklart hylla genom att sjunga delar av hans rika musikskatt.
Kören bjuder under kvällen på delar av En svensk spelmansmässa, De liber fabularum, Åtta csárdás och Jesus Christ Superstar - under ledning av körens dirigent John Erik Eleby samt gästdirigent Annike Jansson Hallin.
