Den 9 mars riktar vi blicken mot det härliga stövellandet vid Medelhavet – Eros Ramazzottis hemvist, espressons moder och parmaskinkans fader. Vi pratar självklart om Italien!
"italia italia" är en helkväll i sann Italien-anda. Det blir grönt, vitt och rött, det blir italienska smaker från köket, det blir Bruno Belissimo och André Laos på scen och Girot på storbild.

Bruno Belissimo är en italiensk-kanadensisk producent och multiinstrumentalistisk soloartist. Bruno arbetar med många italienska artister, såväl i studio som live, och är för närvarande basist för den italienska låtskrivaren Colapesce. Han har tidigare släppt tre kritikerrosade album med bandet Low Frequency Club och har turnerat runtom i Europa.
Bruno Belissimos sound är influerat av italo/rymd-disco-klassiker och orginalmusiken från 70- och 80talets skräck- och sci-fi-filmer. Resultatet är en unik approach till discomusik, en slags ”New Italo”, berikad med en balearisk atmosfär och jazz-vibbar. Genom det italienska skivbolaget Locale Internazionale har Bruno släppt tre singlar, som sedan resulterade i hans första självbetitlade fullängdsalbum (april 2016). Albumet möttes av väldigt fin kritik och Bruno omnämndes som en stigande stjärna på den europeiska disco-scenen. Bruno kompletterar sitt unika albumsound med ett kraftfullt live-set där han kombinerar ljud och bild samtidigt som han visar upp sin begåvning som multiinstrumentalist.
ANDRÈ LAOS, producenten bakom Oktoberklubben och DNKL, har varit minst sagt aktiv ända sedan 2008 och med Göteborg som sin hemstad och bas har han spelat på klubbar världen över. Efter sin första release (en omarbetning av Mood 2 Swings – Closer) blev han signad på NYC-bolaget Let´s Play House genom vilket han släppte sin ”Nordic Delight”-EP. André har sedan dess släppt sin musik på flertalet lablar genom åren, som exempelvis Monologues och the Sunday Best: Silver Bear Recordings, för att nämna några. Laos spenderar mycket tid i sin studio i Göteborg där han både förför och inspirerar med sin breda blandning av Techno, Ambient, Disco och House.
Hans nya liveshow inkluderar improvisationen och kampen mellan människa och maskin. En kamp som har uppenbarat de mest fantastiska kompositioner, över årtionden och över hela världen.
