Välkomna till ett seminarium om Per Kågesons nya bok ”Jämställda – men inte på mannens villkor och barnens bekostnad”.
Kvinnor och män har blivit mer jämställda. Men fortfarande leder familjebildning till omfattande kvinnligt dubbelarbete trots att många småbarnsmammor arbetar deltid. Som tack för sin insats får kvinnorna försämrad hälsa och löneutveckling samt lägre pension. Men regeringen och allianspartierna kräver att kvinnorna ska arbeta heltid för att bli jämställda med männen. Varför ska jämställdhet alltid mätas med mannen som måttstock?
Per Kågeson visar i boken att föräldraledigheten kan utvidgas till 24 månader utan att det kostar mer än dagens modell och det skapar goda förutsättningar för en tredelning av ledigheten. Han visar också hur en form av partiell medborgarlön kan göra det möjligt för småbarnsföräldrar att arbeta sextimmarsdag.
