Sedan 2013 pågår fullt inbördeskrig i Sydsudan, som blev en ny nation efter utbrytning från Sudan 2011. Regeringsstyrkor har bränt, beskjutit och systematiskt plundrat i delstaten Övre Nilen, vilket lett till en massfördrivning av tiotusentals civila. Det råder en humanitär katastrof i landet med omfattande svält och spridning av kolera. Barnen lider svårast.
Är FN:s fredsbevarande styrkor tillräckligt förberedda och rustade för att garantera säkerhet? Finns det något hopp om förbättringar? Vad behövs för det ska ske? Och vad gör det internationella samfundet och Sverige?
