Välkommen på sommarpremiär!
Iiris Viljanen har genom sitt ärliga och unika uttryck etablerat sig som en av Sveriges främsta liveakter. Hennes texter är som noveller från tillvarons vardagligheter och rösten, rösten, rösten! Den undgår inte att beröra någon.
Kompositören, sångerskan och pianisten Iiris Viljanen har belönats med en Grammis och Manifestpriset och varit nominerad till DN:s Kulturpris. Viljanen föddes 1988 i Österbotten, Finland, men har sedan 2006 varit bosatt i Sverige. Det senaste albumet Själsligt uppvaknande vid Slussen, är resultatet av en kris – och ett uppvaknande. Iiris började komponera musiken under en vistelse på Bergmangårdarna på Fårö.
Under våren 2025 turnerar hon med Stina Ekblad i föreställningen ”Ingen alls vet hur jag har det”. Två starka finlandssvenska röster i ett konstnärligt möte. Och i sommar kan vi njuta hennes musik under spannmålsfacken i Upperud. Iiris kommer ensam till vår flygel, så det blir unikt, intimt och helt fantastiskt.

Mat kan bokas i samband med biljettköp. Maten serveras kl 18-20 i restaurangen och på bryggan.
Musiken börjar kl 20 i salen.

Organiser
Upperud 9:9 är en 100-årig spannmålssilo som familjen Kerstin Söderlund byggt om till stilfullt hotell med 5 vackra lägenheter som kallas för silos. Här serveras mat och fika tillagat i det egna köket med bygdens finaste råvaror. Lokala ölsorter och ekologiska viner. Den stora bryggan sträcker sig ut i sjön Höljen som är en del av Dalslands kanal. Nästa sluss norrut är Håverud och akvedukten. Vid vattenbrynet ligger en specialbyggd bastu med panoramafönster.
