Shtoltse lider med Ida Gillner och Livet Nord
Ida Gillner har varit på Wasabryggeriet tidigare. Sopransaxofon, piano och röst är hennes främsta instrument. Hon har gjort underbara framträdande och nu är hon tillbaka. Denna gång tillsammans med Livet Nord på fiol och klockspel, välkänd här liksom i spelmanskretsar över hela Sverige. Duon framför Idas nya kompositioner som bygger på dikter av jiddischpoeterna Anna Margolin, Rokhl Korn, Celia Dropkin och Malka Heifetz Tussman, samtliga verksamma i början av 1900-talet när jiddischkulturen blomstrade som mest. Ida Gillner fick som första svenska artist en konsert i 2022 års upplaga av klezmerfestivalen KlezKanada, den kanske mest välrenommerade festivalen för klezmermusik i världen. Shtoltse lider föddes för några år sedan när Föreningen Jiddischkultur i Göteborg föreslog att duon Ida Gillner och Louise Vase från Danmark skulle tonsätta en rad kvinnliga jiddischpoeter. Ida & Louises arbete med Shtoltse lider har uppmärksammats i tidningar och radio och har blivit betydelsefullt för att uppmärksamma dessa jiddischpoeter i Sverige.
