Konsert med violastudenter på kandidat- och masternivå, som bjuder på både soloformat och kammarmusik. På repertoaren står verk specialskrivna för Göteborgs historiska violaster, som kompletteras med berättelser om deras konstnärliga värv av violalegendaren Bengt Andersson. Dessutom framförs helt nyskriven musik från göteborgstonsättare och riktiga pärlor ur den klassiska internationella viola-repertoaren. Vi bjuds också på ett gästspel av unga violaster, barn från Suzuki Linné. Lektorn i viola, Johanna Persson medverkar som presentatör och musiker. Allt detta på Violas namnsdag.

Organiser
Högskolan för scen och musik finns i centrala Göteborg och ingår i den Konstnärliga fakulteten vid Göteborgs universitet. Högskolans rika offentliga program sätter studenten i centrum och speglar utbildningarna i huset vid närmare 200 evenemang varje år i allt från soloframträdanden till fullskaliga sceniska produktioner. Omfattande samarbete mellan nivåer och genrer ger Högskolan för scen och musik unika möjligheter till bredd och djup.
