Salam, a young Dane, cannot erase the image of a lifeless child on a European beach and decides to go and help other children and their families. On the Greek island of Lesbos, he starts an NGO and works tirelessly for months, saving countless lives. But the police charge him and four others with people smuggling and they’re thrown into jail. The others are released after two nights but because he was in charge, Salam must put up bail of €10,000 and is forbidden to leave Greece.
This film will also be screened on September 22 at 15:30. To get a ticket for this screening, click on this link.
