Rebecka Reinhard (smygpremiär!)
Rebecka Reinhard skapar melodisk indiepop med dist & fuzz och en och annan country-smäktande ballad. Låtarna rör sig mellan drömsk sadcore och krautig skrammelrock och handlar om vardagliga saker som att vara kär, att vara fel eller att hemsöka sitt ex i sömnen.
Projektet började sparsmakat med en halvakustisk Ibanez-gitarr och sovrumsinspelningar i London där hon debuterade med singeln “Pisces” (2017) som idag har över 1 miljon lyssningar på Spotify. Sedan dess har hon hunnit ge ut fyra EP’s, varav en via Bristol-baserade skivbolaget Breakfast Records, spelat i P3 Live och på festivaler som Midnight Lights Festival i Vilhelmina och Indietracks i England. Hennes släpp har uppmärksammats av bl.a. Wonderland, London in Stereo, Hymn och Clash som skriver att “her dreamy shoegaze textures are used to pursue deep emotional truths”.
Nästa släpp har co-producerats och mixats av Alexander Eldefors (Melby) och är på gång senare i höst men det utlovas smakprov från EP:n denna kväll! Om du gillar Mitski, Angel Olsen och Alvvays ska du pallra dig ned till Landet när Rebecka Reinhard intar Heaven Up Here’s scen för andra gången, med Katharina Grubmüller på bas och körsång, Åsa Johnsen på telecaster och Stella Thors Berefelt bakom trummorna.

De siste par årene har Veps seilt opp som et av Norge og Nordens mest spennende og omtalte indieband.
Siden 2021, da de ankom den norske og internasjonale indiescenen som 17-åringer, ga de fire jentene gitt ut det kritikerroste debutalbumet «Oslo Park» og den like bejublede EPen «Open The Door» via amerikanske Kanine Records. Og sommeren 2024 ble deres andre album «Dedicated To» ble sluppet via Miktam Records/Universal Music.
Bandets stilsikre og melodiske indierock har skapt bølger både ute i den store verden og i hjemlandet. Veps har blitt spilt på radiokanaler som britiske BBC 6, Amazing Radio, Radio X og norske NRK P3 og NRK P13. Ellers har den norske kvartetten også blitt omtalt av Dork Magazine, Clash Magazine, Far Out Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit og i tillegg høstet svært rosende anmeldelser i norske aviser som Aftenposten, Dagsavisen, Klassekampen og Morgenbladet.
Mange av bandets singler har også fått tung rotasjon på en rekke av Spotify sine editorial spillelister siden 2021.
Live har Veps tidligere gjort festivalkonserter i inn- og utland, blant annet på The Great Escape, By:Larm, Reeperbahn, Øyafestivalen, Vill Vill Vest, Stag & Dagger og en rekke klubbkonserter, inkludert en egen headliner-turné i Storbritannia.
Konserten på Heaven Up Here blir den eneste gigen Veps gjør i Sverige i 2024.

In the last couple of years Veps have made their mark as one of Norway and the Nordics most exciting and talked about indie bands.
Arriving on the international indie scene in 2021 as 17 year olds, the four girls have since then released their critically acclaimed debut album «Oslo Park and the equally hyped EP «Open The Door» on renowned US label Kanine Records. And in the summer of 2024, their sophomore album «Dedicated To» was released via Miktam Records/Universal Music.
The band’s unique and melodic take on the indie genre has won Veps fans both at home and abroad. Their music has been championed by radio channels such as BBC 6, Amazing Radio, Radio X in the UK, as well as NRK P3 and NRK P13 in their native Norway. Media outlets such as Dork Magazine, Clash Magazine, Far Out Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit and leading Norwegian dailies such as Aftenposten, Dagsavisen Klassekampen and Morgenbladet have all sung the quartet’s praises in the past few years.
Many of Veps’ singles have also enjoyed heavy rotation on several Spotify editorial playlists ever since their debut release in 2021.
Live Veps have played several festivals all over Europe, including The Great Escape, Øyafestivalen, Reeperbahn, By:Larm, Vill Vill Vest, Stag & Dagger, as well as their own headlining club tours in Norway and the UK.
The gig at Heaven Up Here in Stockholm is also the only Swedish show for Veps this year. Last time they visited Sweden to play was all the way back in December of 2021, at the Viva Sounds festival in Gothenburg.
