En höstnatt 1997 låg Erik Rosenberg på en bilväg och väntade på att bli överkörd. Eftersom han fortfarande är här lyckades han inte. Ett rop på hjälp säger ni. En total oförmåga att fullfölja saker säger Erik själv.
Nu har han hunnit bli nykter från ett mångårigt missbruk, avverkat en handfull olika terapeuter på vägen samt passerat genom flera depressioner. Och skaffat sig en ADHD-diagnos, gift sig, separerat och fått två barn efter vägen. Inte nödvändigtvis i den ordningen. Sedan dess har Erik lagt ohemult mycket tid på att fundera varför han kom till den där vägen 1997. Och varför han kom därifrån.
I denna föreställning resonerar Erik om varför 1997 inte blev vägs ände, varför det inte blev några mer självmordsförsök och funderar över det ständiga sökandet efter bekräftelse. Det blir en hårfin balansgång mellan att skapa skratt av Eriks egna tillkortakommanden och en smaklös vältran i självömkan.
Som förkomiker uppträder rutinerade Christer Widén Engqvist.
