Ända sedan släppet av hennes debut-EP 2013 har den svenska låtskrivaren, producenten och artisten Hanna Järver fått en alltmer självklar plats som en av de mest respekterade och intressanta akterna på den alternativa svenska popscenen.
När hon släppte debutalbumet So Long 2018 utnämnde Dagens Nyheter henne till ”den unga svenska popröst vi behöver”. Skivan hyllades av en lång rad svenska medier, däribland Aftonbladet, Gaffa och Tidningen Café, som kallade So Long för ”årets svenska popalbum”.
Det ledde även till hennes tredje P3 Guld-nominering i karriären och nästan 30 liveframträdanden enbart i Sverige, inklusive konserter på Popaganda, Pustervik, Slaktkyrkan och Debaser Strand. Hennes utmärkande popmusik på svenska har också omfamnats av utländska medier som Noisey och The Line Of Best Fit, och har även lett till TV-framträdanden i Babel, Gokväll, Musikhjälpen och Nyhetsmorgon.
I september 2020 släpptes hennes efterlängtade andra album ‘tusen täta lögner in’ som fick lysande recensioner från bland annat Jan Gradvall i Dagens Industri, Gaffa och Dagens Nyheter som skrev: ”Redan i det massiva anslaget till Hanna Järvers nya skiva är jag fast.”
Texterna är ofta utlämnande, men lämnar aldrig någon utanför. De är ofta allegoriska men rymmer ständigt en hög grad av igenkänning. Med sin egenartade blandning av rikt bildspråk och dräpande one-liners, är Hanna Järver en av de mest spännande textförfattarna inom svensk pop idag.
Våren 2024 är Hanna Järver äntligen tillbaka med ny musik.
