Välkommen till en kväll med föreläsning och samtal med Tasneem Salim, spelfantast och mediastrateg verksam i Saudiarabien där hon även har grundat ett spelkonvent för kvinnor, GCON. Hall of Femmes har bjudit in Tasneem Salim för att berätta om spelkultur i arabvärlden, feminism och framtidsvisioner för spelbranschen.
Då inga kvinnor någonsin varit tillåtna att delta på spelkonvent i Saudiarabien tog Tasneem Salim, spelutvecklare och mediastrateg, saken i egna händer 2012. Tillsammans med en grupp kvinnor startade hon GCON, ett spelkonvent för bara kvinnor. Målet var att skapa ett community, främja solidaritet mellan kvinnor och erövra spelandet som ett verktyg för förändring.
Efter samtalet arrangeras ett Diversi Stockholm Meet Up i Kafé/Bar, foajén i ABF-huset.
Kvällen är ett samarbete mellan ABF Stockholm och Hall of Femmes, tillsammans med Diversi och Dataspelsbranschen.
Seminariet och samtalen hålls på engelska.
