Välkomna till Västerås slott!
Västerås slott har en spännande historia och är en av de äldsta byggnaderna i staden. Slottet har haft många olika utseenden och många av dem kan man se som ärr i fasaden. Olika kungligheter och regenter är knutna till slottets historia, som så väl förödande bränder. Svante Nilsson Sture avled här, Katarina Vasa likaså. Här höll Gustav Vasa arvsriksdag för att säkra tronen till sin son, samme son som senare satt fången här. Hör om mästertjuven Liljas otroliga rymning härifrån. Här satt även Lasse-Maja fången. Samling utanför slottet. Kaffe/te/dryck med godbit efteråt på borggården.
Samling utanför borggården kl 17:55. Turen pågår kl 18 till 19, därefter fika.
