Välkomna på en guidad tur utomhus och inomhus vid det gamla ångkraftverket. Hör om stadens unika ångkraftverk som var känt och beundrat internationellt, med banbrytande teknik och fenomenal prestanda!
Hör om bakgrunden varför det kom till, hur det användes, se var arbetarna bodde och hör hur WW1 och WW2 påverkade området och användningen.
Första halvan av turen sker utomhus runt kvarteret där vi ser ångkraftverket utifrån och de gamla arbetarkvarteren. Andra halvan sker inomhus via en utställning i Kokpunkten och med ett besök i det bevarade pannkontrollrummet inne i Steam Hotel (två våningar upp via en spiraltrappa, ej hiss) samt med ett varv runt unika pannan P12. En intressant tur utlovas!
