Göteborg Jazz Orchestra ångar vidare på konceptet "Jazz är Kul!" denna gång gästas vi med ett inhopp av den stigande jazzstjärnan Alexander Lövmark som inte kunnat hålla sig från att sjunga med bandet. Bandets repertoar kompletteras nu av nya arrangemang av Alexanders fina låtar och lägger man till miljön och det fina köket på Contrast Public House blir det en helhetsupplevelse för alla sinnen.
Den prisbelönte vokalisten Alexander Lövmark släppte nyligen skivan Perfect Storm (2018) och vann för två år sedan den prestigefyllda Montreux Jazz Voice Competition. Lövmarks originalmusik har nu blivit arrangerad av vår egen Axel Mårdsjö och vi bjuds denna kväll dessutom rykande färska alster. Möt denna vokalvirtuos och charmante sångare i ett sällsynt möte med Göteborg Jazz Orchestra!

Jazzklubb: Vauxhall
Inspirerat av nöjesetablissemanget Vauxhall Gardens i London drevs nöjespalatset Vauxhall i Göteborg på Första Långgatan 10 på slutet av 1700-talet. Senare återuppstod Vauxhall och drevs som ett dansställe mellan c a 1930 och 1970 med jazzstorheter som Toots Thielemans, Clifford Brown, Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Herman med flera på scen.
Contrast Public House tar nu upp pinnen och bjuder på 18-manna jazzband sista måndagen varje månad och skön jazz andra måndagen varje månad. På menyn står gött käk, fancy cocktails och skönt måndagshäng. Inredningen går i linje med Vauxhall Gardens och bjuder på mycket grönt.
