ABF tillägnar då och då ett seminarium åt kulturpersonligheter av skilda slag. Nu är det dags för Göran Rosenberg.
Göran Rosenberg (f. 1948) är journalist och författare, verksam som reporter, korrespondent, filmare, essäist och kolumnist i ett flertal medier. Han var under 1990-talet grundare och chefredaktör för tidskriften Moderna Tider.
Bland hans böcker märks:
Friare kan ingen vara, den amerikanska idén från Revolution till Reagan, 1991
Det förlorade landet, Israel en personlig historia,1996 (nominerad till Augustpriset)
Plikten, profiten och konsten att vara människa, Bonniers 2003 , 2013.
Ett kort uppehåll på vägen från Auschwitz, Bonniers 2012, vinnare av Augustpriset i skönlitteratur 2012 och det franska priset för bästa utländska bok Prix du Meilleur Livre Étranger 2014. Hittills översatt till tolv språk.
Göran Rosenberg är hedersdoktor vid Göteborgs Universitet (2000)
