FRONTSIDE VISITS KOSTER

FRONTSIDE - Gothenburg International Chamber Music Festival presenterar guldkorn ur festivalens kritikerrosade program med temat "Österut” från januari 2020. Programmet är inspirerat av Ostindiefararens resor med asiatiskinspirerad musik av bl a Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy och Antonio Vivaldi.
Kinesiske musikern Wu Wei fascinerar med sitt uttrycksfulla spel på det uråldriga instrumentet ”Sheng” (munorgel). Vid hans sida musicerar franske pianisten Julien Quentin, en av Europas mest eftertraktade pianister och svenska cellisten Karolina Öhman som har etablerat sig utomlands som en av de främsta inom nutida musik. Välbekanta Duo Granmo-Berg framför nyskrivna klanger av Carl-Axel Hall och Bengt Lundin.
