Syster är en smärtsam skildring av att leva med en intellektuell funktionsnedsättning i Sverige idag. Om ett vårdsystem som brister och där allt högre krav ställs på de anhöriga.
Det är en berättelse om livslång kärlek, ansvar och samhällets svek.
