Strax innan Ann Johansson fyllde 30 år bestämde hon sig för att lämna sitt inrutade liv bakom sig. På en nyinköpt cykel, med allt hon ägde nedpackat i några väskor, gav hon sig ensam iväg med målet att cykla från sitt hem i Ljusne till Nya Zeeland.
"Om-vägen" är mycket mer än en resedagbok. Det är en berättelse om en storslagen dröm där läsaren tas med på ett lika gripande som tankeväckande äventyr till platser okända för många.
