I sin nya roman ”Sveas son – en berättelse om folkhemmet” skriver Lena Andersson om snickaren och slöjdläraren Ragnar Johansson. Han får personifiera de socialdemokratiska tankarna om ett rationellt och modernt Sverige, där plikt och skötsamhet är ledord. Men kulturkrocken kommer snabbt när barnen till den generationen tar med sig nya åsikter och idéer hem.
Vart är folkhemmet på väg i och med det nya valresultatet?
Lena Andersson diskuterar med historikern Lars Trägårdh, som skrivit den rosade och uppmärksammade boken ”Är svensken människa? Gemenskap och oberoende i det moderna Sverige”. Han har forskat just kring välfärdsstaten, folkhemmet och den nordiska modellen. Just nu leder han ett forskningsprojekt om social tillit.
