Heldagskonferensen #flipthescript ägde rum för första gången i ABF-huset i november 2016 på initiativ från Jyothi Svahn. #flipthescript är ett amerikanskt koncept som tagit fart på sociala plattformar och syftar till en perspektivförskjutning när det gäller adoption. Det är de adopterades perspektiv som ska lyftas.
Det finns ca 60 000 utlandsadopterade i Sverige. Sverige är det land som har flest utlandsadopterade per capita.

10.00 Hej och välkomna
10.15-11.00 Sorgbearbetning för adopterade. Sara Quick, 37 år är bosatt i Stockholm och jobbar som lärare. Har på senare år blivit mer intresserad av frågor som berör adoption och etnicitet. Startade egna samtalscirklar för adopterade våren 2017 och har nu i höst fortsatt handleda en grupp i sorgebearbetning. Utbildad samtalsterapeut och handledare i sorgebearbetning.
11.15-12.15 Jyothis resa - första pappan-perspektivet. Filmvisning + samtal Jyothi Svahn och Joel Mauricio Isabel Ortiz.
12.15-13.15 LUNCH
13.15-14.45 Många adopterade söker sina rötter. Några finner, andra inte. Carolina Skyldberg från SvT-dokumentären ”De ensamma” och Sofia French som gjorde P1-dokumentären ”Tillbaka till Seoul” samtalar om sökande. Hur har de gått tillväga? Vem har stöttat och hjälpt? Vad har det kostat? Vad det givit?
15-16.00 Joel Mauricio Ortiz, skådespelare. Uppläsning av Den svenska sonen som under 2017 är en del av Riksteaterns residensverksamhet för ny dramatik. Joel Mauricio Isabel Ortiz är författare, dramatiker, skribent och skådespelare. Utbildad på Balettakademien i Göteborg samt på Stockholms Dramatiska Högskola. Våren 2018 debuterar hen med sin roman "Sången om en son" på Norstedts.
Det kommer också finnas ett bokbord med äldre och nyare litteratur skriven av adopterade. I anslutning till bokbordet visas även konstnären Sabina Ivenäs svartvita bildberättelse om att vara utlandsadopterad. Sabina Ivenäs är bosatt i Linköping där hon arbetar som universitetsadjunkt. Hon har även presenterat och publicerat forskning om adoptionslitteratur skrivet av utlandsadopterade i Skandinavien.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your #FliptheScript tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your #FliptheScript tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my #FliptheScript ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

Where do I find a link to an online event?
Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
