Stökig men melodisk postpunk med inslag av The Drums hetsigare låtar, Interpol och Bloc Party.” skrev Nöjesguiden då FEWS debutalbum dök upp tidigare i år och nu får Malmö chansen att knockas av FEWS drivna postpunk.
FEWS är en svensk-amerikansk kvartett, där bland andra David Alexander (Summer Heart) och Frederick Rundqvist (Sameblod) ingår. Bandet har redan hunnit turnera Europa tillsammans med Fat White Family och Money samt gästat Bloc Party under deras slutsålda turné i Storbritannien.
I höst kommer FEWS att genomföra sin första egna turné i Storbritannien. Dessutom kommer de att dyka upp på Pixies kommande Europaturné plus spela på festivalen Iceland Airwaves i Reykjavik. Men trots det späckade schemat hinner de även med en avstickare för en spelning ”på hemmaplan”.
Missa inte chansen att gå loss till FEWS 2:14-minuters endorfinkick ”Zlatan” då de kommer till Grand den 2 november.Hundmänniska är Lovisa Thurfjells (Tiger Bell, Rewind) nya musikprojekt. Ett projekt på svenska som blandar poppig pop med punkig rock, där text och melodi får mycket plats. Ett projekt som är sprunget ur en vilja att skapa musik utan kompromisser på egna premisser. Just nu är Hundmänniska aktuell med debutsingeln ”Res dig upp”.
